A Very Pleasent Gig

Garry got a Phone Call on Thursday 8th July asking him to do a Gig
on Friday 9th July Talk about short notice, No booking for that night so why not !!

An American Company based in the U K holding a Corporate Event
Every thing entertainment wise left till last minute
An American Themed Night and Awards Night with a Free Bar
The Marriot Hotel, Worsley. Manchester
3 Tribute Acts all of who we found out Were booked The Day before
We were to Arrive 6-30 pm to do a sound check, with just Jump Suit, Mic, and Discs
Using there own P A Equipment
Garry had to be dressed ready to do a Meet and Greet for 45 mins
While the Meal was being served The 1st Tribute A very good Frank Sinatra
2nd Tribue Artist Garry John as Elvis Presley
3rd was a Blues Brothers Tribute Act
All Tributes were recieved very well The best Response being For Garry As Elvis
The people were both very responsive and really great joining in singing and dancing
it was a very pleasent Gig who says you have to plan ahead Months in addvance eh lol
Made a big difference no equipment to pack up just grab Jump Suit, Mic and Discs
Jump in car and be home in 20 mins do with a few more like that

Cant be bad, a gig at the Marriott, very posh. Well done to both, I have seen how fast you can put the speakers etc away.

Wow how good was that!! Gigs like that are just great arent they! It does make a big difference not havin to de-rig and lug everything back.
Lets hope they book Garry more often
