Special Elvis and Buddy Autism Benefit Show

I attended a special show last night,
it was a benefit for Autism,

There were many in attendance at the
show of whom had family members and/
or friends of family members with autism.
It was especially special for me to support
this benefit, as many of you know - my son
is autistic.

I have posted a video to this show under the
YouTube section of the forum and here are
pics of me from the benefit and also 1 pic
of the show's 50's background set..

Enjoy - and oh I had a fab time, as it had
been awhile since the last show I was at.

Ah it looks like you had a great time and what a worthy cause to support. Its great when ETAs can support and donate their time to important charities.
It makes such a difference and Im sure Elvis would be very proud that ETAs are using their profession to help people in need, just like he did

Hi Lorna,

I really had a blast at this event, it truly was a special evening, particularly for the benefactor of the portion of the proceed Autism Ontario Durham.

Some of the families, brought with them, members of their families that were autistic and even some that were in group homes came along.

I even got to spend a wee bit of time with the son of the ETA who is autistic (he is however not quite as autistic as my son, in the respected he does not mind as much personal contact "touchy feely" type , my son is not so much, was when he was much younger. This young fella also is not verbal as is my son - and he also had a few characteristic as my son)

It overall was a nice evening, was great to see this ETA again, it has been just over a year since the last performance of his I had seen. Look forward to the next

I just think it is wonderfull, that ETA's or any kind of artist do something for the people that need it most!!!
And most children with a special handicap, just love music, so i can imagion they just had a ball there!!
Just GREAT!!!

Most of the special needs kids, and teenagers that were there appear to be contented and also enjoying themselves..

The Autism Ontario Durham also held their own 50/50 draw too..

All in all it was a great time.. Essie.. I also have a video of the event in YouTubes too Essie nearly 40 minutes long.
