"Legends in Concert" to Host Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Prelimininaries

Celebrated tribute artist production "Legends in Concert" and Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. (EPE) announce the addition of four Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest preliminaries and the Grand Prize for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

On Stage Touring, a subsidiary of On Stage Entertainment and creators of the world's longest-running celebrity tribute show has been officially licensed by EPE Inc. to produce preliminary contests at “Legends in Concert” locations including Branson, Mo.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Atlantic City, N.J. and a fourth location to be determined at a later date.

Additionally, Legends has also agreed to furnish the Grand Prize for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest which will take place in Memphis, TN on August 13 &14 during Elvis Week. The winner of the contest will be provided with a 12-week paid performance contract to appear with "Legends in Concert" in its numerous locations including its permanent locations in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Branson, Mo.; Atlantic City, N.J. and Auburn (Seattle), WA.

Launched in August of 2007, the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis is the highlight of Elvis Week activities, which last year attracted more than 70,000 fans from all over the world.
