| Subject: Winter Elvis Fest opportunity - limited to 20 ETAs Fri Aug 22, 2008 11:02 pm | |
| Saginaw, Michigan, where Elvis reportedly recorded his last 3 songs after a concert on April 25th, 1977, will host the Saginaw King Fest in January of 2009. We are hoping this year will form a solid foundation for a full winter festival in the north. The facilities are outstanding and ETAs will be treated very well and given hotel rooms and some meals. Space is limited for this first year and there will be only 2 divisions - Early and Vegas years with no distinction between pro and non pro. Unfortunately, we cannot handle a youth division this first year but if all goes well 2010 will be a full blown competition and a great party. Registrations are now being accepted and information about the great weekend packages is available on the web site: http://www.saginawkingfest.com/ We re also looking for fans and others in the Saginaw area who would like to help with the festival.
