Memoribilia from music artists are up for auction his month.
Many items from George C. “Dr. Nick” Nichopoulous are available for auction at the Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Nichopoulous is the doctor that was charged with over-prescribing controlled substances to Elvis Presley before Presley’s death in 1977. The doctor was acquitted from the charges, but had his license suspended on the same charges.
The auction, held by Julien’s Auctions Summer Sale, will be held on June 26-27, according to a press release.
The memorabilia includes prescription bottles, jewelry, guns, clothes, and furniture. The prescription bottles have an estimated value to be $800-1200 each.
All of the items sold come with the “Dr. Nick’s Memories of Elvis” DVD that explains the history and events surrounding all of the gifts.
The auction also has items that once belonged to the Jackson Five, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Liberace, Karen Carpenter, and many others.
