Images of the King contest vs EPE's Ultimate Contest

Images of the King contest has been going since 1987 when Glenn Bowles won the very-first contest in Memphis.
The new Goliath on the block is the Elvis-World's "Official" contest- The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.
It's shaping up to be a war between the 2.
"Images" since 1987 has built up a very strong reputation and was the only competition of it's kind on that scale in the World.
For many years they faced quite a bit of Bullying from EPE which even stopped them from using the name "Elvis" anywhere in their competition!
Then in 2007, EPE suddenly decided to set up their own Rival competition- this after 30 years of never suppoting ETAs and even trying to ban ETA events. It's obvious EPE are just in it for the money and in fact Shawn Klush only won an insulting $5000 for winning EPE's contest in 2007. Is this what EPE thinks their World's Greatest Elvis is worth??? They could have easily afforded to give him a $100,000 contract for a year's work. But no, they gave him just $5000.
Apart from the Candlelight Vigil, The "Images" contest has been the Heart of Elvis week- it used to be held at Bad Bob's Vapors nighclub, but after Bob died it is now held at the Holiday Inn.
I would be very, very sad if EPE's "Ultimate" eventually kills off "Images".
