Help Lewis Walk Update

Hi Guys and Girls as you know Gary , Ronnie , and myself did a fundraiser with Val to help raise money for lewis to have surgery over in america to help him walk again, Well i'm pleased to report Lewis went into surgery 20 mins ago and all is going well , will keep you all up to date xx

Update, they have done one side of his spine and are now working on the other. Very brave lad and family.

Just a Update Lewis has had his operation and its been a success , he has had a comfortable night but is heavily sedated to help him sleep through the pain. All been well he will be took out of intensive care today. Wishing him all the luck in the world and a speedy recovery.

Lewis is slowly been taken of the drugs and although he is in allot of pain he is doing really well and is now watching Scooby Doo Ann his mum reports she can see her little boy coming back to life. So proud of this little lad he has a long way to go but is doing really well. He is also on a normal ward now.

I have sent Lewis a get well message in the hospital from everyone on the Browser.

This is fantastic! Is really great to hear. Lewis is such a brave boy and it was lovely to meet him last month. Big well done to Val for putting the gig together and for the boys for partaking. Val ran for Lewis also and raised money for him that way too. Elvis would be really proud of you all xx

Lewis is looking more like himself everyday Ann his mother has posted some pictures of how lewis is today , it brings a happy tear to my eyes to see this.

Lewis is doing really well with his physio, well done to him . Unfortunatley his mam has just found out someone has been stealing from the funds, someone has set up direct debits. She is trying to sort it out from America, the police and bank are informed and taking all the action they should be doing. They have not stolen a lot but that is not the point/ Very sad that someone can do something like this.

This is brilliant Paul. Lot a hard work and determination both from Lewis and his family, great lad and we are all proud of him.
