Elvis's Funeral

I was just wondering which 'famous' people attended Elvis's funeral. Ones who was his real friends.

I had a look into it Val and found this:

Numerous celebrities attended Elvis' funeral, including Caroline Kennedy, country music guitarist Chet Atkins, performers Ann-Margret and George Hamilton, and television evangelist Rex Humbard, who was one of the speakers during the service. Comedian Jackie Kahane, who had opened many of Elvis' concert performances, delivered his eulogy, and a local minister also spoke. Gospel performers sang, including Jake Hess, J.D. Sumner, James Blackwood, and their vocal groups, as well as singer Kathy Westmoreland.

I think out of those Ann Margaret and JD. Thinking about it, I am surprised Tom Jones didnt attend. Maybe they werent as close as he says

Thats what I thought. Did think that there would be more celebs but maybe thats how Elvis wanted it.

Yeh, now days you would have all the celebs wanting to attend. He was a private person thow and the funeral was so fast, maybe peeps weren't invited or couldn't attend due to time scale?
