What was Elvis doing this day 31 years ago?

Elvis performed at the Sportatorium, Hollywood, Florida.
Elvis insisted that Ginger accompanied him on this first tour of the year. The highlights of the show for the most part remained the great dramatic displays, Unchained Melody, Hurt and How Great Thou Art. This was David Briggs' last tour, who didn't know how much Elvis knew about his relationship with Linda, but he found out when Elvis pulled the plug on his electronic keyboard toward the end of the tour.

Apparently he was seeing Linda whilst her and Elvis where still together. I think David was lucky if all Elvis did was pull the plug on his keyboard. A little too close to home some might say.....
Feel sorry for Ginger though, knowing her man was bothered by this when he was supposed to be with her
