Ginger Alden Auctions Part Of Her Elvis Presley Collection

As part of the Pugliese Pop Culture Collection Auction (March 15 & 16, 2008), Guernsey's is pleased to be offering 14 amazing Elvis Presley lots consigned by Ginger Alden, Elvis' fiancee at the time of his death. This marks the first time Ms. Alden has offered any of her personal Elvis Presley collection at public auction.

These one-of-a-kind items will be sold on Sunday, March 16, following a number of fantastic Elvis-related lots from the Pugliese Collection. Please note, however, that these lots are not part of the Pugliese Collection and are being consigned directly by Ginger Alden.

Elvis purchased this in 1977 in Parm Springs whilst with Ginger, he wore it then gave it to her


Following Elvis's New Year's Eve show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1976 Elvis gave this guitar pick to Ginger

Lol just seen this one, the story that comes with it is just a total 'Elvis moment'. He always did have a wicked sense of humor....

This humorous real carved coconut head with movable eyes and shell teeth was handed to Elvis Presley by a devoted fan during his performance in Johnson City, Tennessee on February 19th, 1977. Elvis thought this gift was hysterical. He took the coconut head with him off stage where he later gave it to his fiancee, Ginger. This gift comes with a letter of authenticity from Ginger Alden

I think thats really sad to be honest with you...I wouldnt sell anything Elvis had given me. Especially if it was a present or handwritten item.

Yer your right I wouldnt want to sell anything from Elvis either, would be far too precious.... however for Ginger I suppose he is her past lover and she has had to move on with her life, Im sure she has kept bits from her relationship with him but I guess when moneys tight you have to do what you have to do

Lmao! I know, I know. I wouldnt want to sell the PJ top.. but it was her causin or neices originally and as for the cigar.... i find it freaky she has kept this and it was to be used for somet like this when the time was right.

Why would anyone want to sell his stuff, they must be desparate, especially after keeping it all this time but who knows....

Its hard not to want to buy the stuff...just so it doesnt go anywhere else.

Does anyone know if the Concho belt she's auctioning is the actual one used during filming TTWII? As the original went missing and has never been seen for years. Just very curious if this is the one?
