The Unworn Jumpsuit

Hi All, I've been off for a while so I don't know if this has been covered already but a replica of the August 77 tour suit is on ebay (or it might be just the belt) but anyway there is a nice picture of the light blue suit which was allegedly to be worn for the August tour.
As you can see, it's light blue and embellsished with what look like gold question marks. If true, then it's a slight departure tailoring-wise from Elvis' usual jumpsuits. The dimensions of the belt buckle are a bit different, and the collar seems to be going back to the phase in 1975 when the collars were scaled down slightly- (particularly on the gypsy suit).
Yes I've just gone and checked ebay and this auction is for the belt only.

BTW, where's Wayne Alonzo gone?

Yes this is the one! A while ago, Graceland had an "unfinished" suit on display (still with pins in it!) and I saw a blurry picture of it once- but it was different to this suit. But a number of sources have said that this is definitely Elvis' unworn costume for the August 77 tour.
But he had'nt worn a blue jumpsuitsuit for a while and there's something about the way the embroidery goes inside the collar that seems so unlike Bill Belew's workmanship. If this is Genuinely what he was going to wear fot the next tour, I wonder if he had someone else make it for him? Wonder if anyone has checked the authenticity with EPE...
But then again, considering that he first wore the 1977 Sundial back in '74, this Blue Question Mark suit could have been another one he had had for ages but never got round to wearing.

Hmmm it is a mystery isnt it! I never knew anything about this until you said. Would be really interesting to know if it is true and if so who actually made the suit.
