| Subject: If Elvis had lived, what songs would he have done??? Mon Mar 03, 2008 3:41 pm | |
| Hi guys. As you all know, I`m new to this site, so I appologise in advance if this question has already been asked Out of all the songs released since Elvis died, what ones do you think would have been offered to him or what ones do you think he would have covered? One I heard on the radio today I think would have been excellent if he had done a duet - "The time of my life" - what do you think and what others can you come up with? Also, do any of the ETA`s do this already? I know Martin Fox did "Crazy little thing called love" at Blackpool. Michael | |

| Hiya Michael, no worries, this is a great question and one I think we have all thought one time or another. Oh yer 'The time of my life' would have been a great one I would have loved him to sing 'I will always love you' that Dolly Parten/ Whitney Huston sang. Apparently he was interested in singing the song and Dolly had agreed until Parker said he wanted half the writes to go to Elvis. Dolly stuck to her guns and said 'Hell no'! Shame but she did what she had to do as an artist. I would have loved him to team up with some of the younger singers of today like Tom Jones did a few years ago, think it would have been ace! | |

| Hi Lorna i think the linking up with younger singers idea is spot on and pretty much something that he would have done.
