Elvis through your eyes

When you think of Elvis what do you see?

PERFECTION , THE BEST LOOKING MAN TO EVER GRACE THE EARTH , HIS IMAGE LEAPS OFF THE PAGE AT YOU , WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT AN AURA HE HAS IT PLAIN AND SIMPLE

Compassion, genuine person, understanding, someone with allot of sensitivity and emotion, sincerity and so, so much more - and also what Eddie says - "perfection" too - I do not feel there was any man/woman to compare to his perfection.

A presence like no other!

Elvis had 'love' and 'Charisma' pouring out of himself.

When i met life-long friend of Elvis Jimmy Velvet i asked him about what Elvis was like in real life as opposed to the photos we have of him and Jimmy said, "i never saw a good photo of Elvis which captured what he looked like in real life".

Jimmy said about people knowing Elvis was in a room before they even saw him and he agreed with that.
He said "Elvis had that.He could just walk into a room and you knew he was there".

I see a very masculin cheaky minx who loved to have a laugh.
Every lil smile or raise of his eyebrow you knew he was foolin around.
I see him very angelic, even though I know he wasnt always, he had some very angelic qualities about him.
His voices washes over me and always gives me an emotion whether it be happy/sad/nostalgic. He was a very special person and there is not a day goes by that I dont think of him

I see an inspiration.

I see a genuine guy that would have been happier performing, making people happy but also living a normal life.

When ever I watch Elvis off stage I never feel he seems happy with the constant attention - he would prefer to be out and about with his friends and family.

Elvis is truly my hero!!
I grew up with his music, and when i was in a very abusive relation, and at a time in my life when i was veeery sick (the docters sayd i had to enjoy all the things in life while i could, sins i was dieing), and no one was around, Elvis was always there for me!
If he only knew, how big of an influence he had in peoples life..
Also thanks to Elvis, Johnny and i met at an Elvis-meeting.
So yes, Elvis IS my hero, in good and in bad times!
Then he is also the most sexy man and worlds greatest entertainer ever to walk on this planet!
And ofcourse he was human, not just an entertainer, but also a man made out of flesh and blood.

I understand your feelings there Essie.
The music and the movies got me through a pretty tough childhood.

I agree with everything everyone has said about Elvis, gorgeous. His pictures are the one thing I look at and it always makes me smile. The only other thing I see in his eyes (I know I am going to get shot down for this) but I also sadness and a bit of a devil in him.
