| As I wasn`t around on here at the time I was just wondering What your thoughts were on it. the programme in general and the competition itself in particular.
Were any posters on here involved either auditionwise or on the programme itself?
Seeings as the BBC also did The One and Only for tribute acts without Elvis was it because during the research into that show they found so many ETAs that they decided to do one on Elvis solely or was that coincidence?
Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

| The programme was good - well I enjoyed it.
You can get a lot of clips on youtube of the performances.
And yes, the reason they did not allow ETA`s on that other show was because they had just had the Worlds greatest Elvis.

| I was in Memphis when it was aired over here but managed to borrow a copy to watch it and I thought it was brilliant. Not sure about the opening music but it was nice to see so many ETAs. I would have liked to have seen the ones who hadnt got through but I think thats where it could have turned into a circus and over all I think it was done quite well, although it looked like the other 2 judges didnt really interact with Joe, or thats the way it looked to me anyway I didnt agree with some of the comments or choices but over all Shawn deserved to win 100%. its obvious he has worked so hard to perfect his tribute to Elvis and thats why I am a big fan of his! Would love to be able to buy it on DVD as would love to see it again but wouldnt know where to start | |

| Yeah, it was a good show.
Diamond Joe was a judge and so was Suzi Quatro but who was the other guy and what right did have to be a judge??
Steve Preston didnt get a chance to show his true talent.
Shawn Klush was a deserving winner.

| i thought the reason there was not an Elvis on THE ONE THAT I WANT was because the winner's prize was a place on the LEGENDS show in Las Vegas and they already have an Elvis as he performed on the first ONE THAT I WANT SHOW maybe i'm wrong | |

| I thought that, but they already have a Tom Jones too. We were lucky enough to catch a legends show whilst on our honeymoon in Vegas and the Tom Jones they had was outstanding! Paul had been to see the real Tom Jones a few years before in Vegas and said he was really close to the real thing, they also had a Dianna Ross in Vegas too.... maybe there were just too many Elvis's to choose from... who knows lol | |
