Lmao! Have you heard 'Touch my body' by Mariah Carey, its totally rubbish!!!! She still looks crackin for her age (not jelous in the slightest ) but why even try to compare her and Elvis is sooooooo laughable!

Please tell me if I am wrong but does 'A little less conversation' count as a number one for Elvis as it is not on the listing but it is on the cd of Elvis no'1's. So if I am right (knowing me I am probably not) she has not broke his record, but is only USA no'1's.

It should be a joke though! I mean its no contest really is it! lol

dont forget though they had to sell a lot more records in them days to reach no 1 if i'm not mistaken. also they dont have to sell as many to get gold records now.

i'd also like to say there will probably come the sad day when west life or someone overtakes Evis's record of 18 no 1s in the uk . i mean how boring are they?

sorry if there's any westlife fans here but again how can you even begin to compare the two?

The thing that annoys me about these polls it they don't take into account the differnt formats .... Back in Elvis's Day there was Vynal , Tape , 8 track etc ..... Plus not every one had a music player in them days.

Where as in the current day Just about every home has some device or other to play music on , even the charts are based on Mp3 downloads as well as other formats. So where am i going with this , a Artist of today should in thoery be out selling artists of Elvis's time because there is more ways to sell there tracks , avalaibility is much wider now than in elvis's day .....
