Im all for being what you want to be but leave Elvis out of it. Lol!

I`ve been asked to do a gig at a gay club in July - exact date to be arranged.

I don`t see any problem, other than the shirt above could have been worded better. It suggests Elvis was gay???

One of my gay female mates asked me to go with her a few years ago to Bright Gay Pride day so i agreed and the nearer it got i was abit paranoid cause i didnt know what to expect.

It was a really hot day and we both got a train down there and headed for this big park where it was being held.

I didnt really notice anything that made me feel uncomfortable and got a beer and laid down on the grass and started to doze off.

What i didnt know what my mate decided to play a trick on me.

As i opened my eyes this very tall man who looked liked Ziggy Stardust was standing over me with a whip in his hand and said to me 'For £10 i will give you a good seeing to'.
I jumped up very quickly and turned the offer down with a few choice words.
My mate hasnt forgot the look on my face when i looked up.

I use to go to gay bars all the time when I lived in Toronto.
Made tons of friends with the gay community... felt very
safe in these bars. I loved the drag shows ... they were
tons of fun.

I did a gay bar in Leeds called Drags, i went to the toilet and read on the wall, watch out for gays, then while i was washing my hands i read watch out for gays, and when i was leaving i saw some writing on the skirting board so i bent down to read it and it said, i warned you twice !!

I have been to a few gay bars and clubs.

What you find is the gay males know how us hetrosexual males go on. I remember asking where the gents was and one of the gay guys said, in a mocking way, are you not worried???

I replied "not at all. However, if I ever turned gay you would be worried if you saw the size of the beast I`m packing!!!"

It sounded real funny until my wife said "I can assure you, you would not be worried"

sorry going back to that hiddious jumper that is so very, very wrong would not be happy to see anybody with that on to be honest. Not anti gay or anything what I am anti is the PC brigade and some things should be left well alone and like you say come on leave Elvis out of it eh!!

Look..All I'm saying is the gay community are very much accepted in this day and age so why can't the gay community just accept THAT. But why do some of them persist in trying to turn everything in the world gay.

Why have we always got to be so careful not to upset the gay community and the PC brigeade and not to ofend them. Well sorry but that jumper ofends me. Its a shame some of the gay community are not that botherd about upsetting the straight community. sorry if I upset anyone with what I say but just my 2 pennys worth and before anyone starts with the homophobic bit I've never been scared of my house in my life.
just for the record life on mars and AHES to ASHES have been two of my favourite programes ever. love the gene hunt character think he's great.
