| Subject: Jimmy Osmond - Why? Tue May 27, 2008 11:44 am | |
| Have just read this article and it has really angered me! I havent yet had chance to look at the Jonathan Ross footage to see if he said the same thing but this is what he has been paping to all the papers about him and Elvis - Quote :
- JIMMY OSMOND once vomited over an audience member after binging on food to emulate his idol ELVIS PRESLEY.
Osmond was working with the legendary rocker during the later stages of Presley's career, after the King had lost his slimline physique and boasted an expanding waistline. And Osmond was so determined to mimic Presley he did everything he could to gain weight. However, Osmond's binge eating culminated in an embarrassing incident which saw him throw-up during a performance - with Presley watching. He says, "I would dress up and over-eat to be like him. Which once led to me being sick over an audience member while Elvis watched from the sound room."

| Personally I thought it was funny...and im sure Elvis saw the funny side too. I imagine Jimmy and his family are the height of politeness. They all seem like a really nice grounded loving family. I dont think he meant to chuck up on stage...Sophs.

I mustn't have the same sense of humor as you Soph, didn't like that statement at all, although I doubt he meant it in a bad way people love to take these things and run away with them x
