On June 12,1989, Graceland opened the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum, an exhibit of 20 of Elvis' cars.
The car Museum opened in Graceland Plaza, across the street from Graceland 19 years ago today. Before that, many of the cars and motorcycles following Elvis's death were displayed in the carport behind the mansion in the same place they were kept during his lifetime. Below are a few of the vehicles currently on display in the museum
