| Its quite violent...and not what youd expect from a Batman film...but it is still brilliant...and Heath Ledger is just fantastic as the villan. Its quite a dark film...maybe...hence its title. Sophie. xxx | |

| Yeh I love it when Elvis pops up in stuff. It happens alot. Im reading a book at the mo, a girlie one and they end up in Vegas looking for rich guys to marry and their mission is called project Presley and they just ador all things Elvis and being only 27yrs this is very cool to me lol! | |

| There seems to be quite a lot of bad press about the new Batman film at the moment. I do feel sorry for the parents who take little kids to the parent and baby screening...a tad cruel. | |

| We went to see it on Friday and it did blow my mind and wreak my head just ever so slightly. Loved Heath as the Joker, so sad he died, such a waste of a fantastic actor. I liked the Joker more than Batman and Heath reminded me of a Johnny Depp type. He would have gone far for sure.
Jase you defo have to go see it, its brill. Though I do have to say its NOT a 12A, they should not have been allowed to put it as that. A 15yrs defo! I love the action etc but 12 or 13 is far too young for this film.

What is the name of this book Lorna, maybe I can find it in a local library here, though I am not much of a book reader, maybe this kind can get me interested. Hugs Charmaine

Hugs Charmaine I think its called Diva Las Vegas. It is a really light read but really funny and quirky with loads of references to Elvis etc. There is a bit of light swearing and naughty bits but only girlie fun. For example they go to this stripper club (one of the girls fancies one of the strippers, though she didnt know he was one until she saw the poster) and there are these two old ladies sat there getting into the swing of things and one turns to the other and says 'he looks like Arnie' and the other says 'I would terminate anything for a date with him' which reminds the girl in the story of a joke she heard once. 'a flasher prayed on two old ladies and opened his coat so they saw his full glory. The first old lady had a stroke, the other couldnt reach' Pure class! hehe! It makes you smile all the way through. Totally recommend it x

No problem with the swearing and/or strip clubs... just a little out secret from about 18 - 25 years of age, I use to go to a male strip club in Toronto on weekends with my girlie friends and we had tons of fun in those days.
