Oh Dear, Elvis Sings With Carrie

I found this article regarding the Elvis duets album being released later this year.
I dont get why they say Elvis would have turned in his grave because Carrie is singing with him.
She is absolutely gorgeous! Im sure he would have loved to sing with her had he been still with us!



Poor Elvis. He will be turning over in his grave with news that he has recorded a song with Carrie Underwood.

Carrie, who wasn`t even born when Elvis died, has recorded a duet with the dead King for an upcoming Christmas album `Elvis Presley Christmas Duets`.

Dead Elvis gets to sing with live music acts on this album. It features duets with Martina McBride, Leann Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray and Amy Grant.

The album has been given the official endorsement from the Presley estate. `We are so pleased that these accomplished artists are collaborating with Elvis in this unique way to make exciting new versions of his Christmas songs. I am sure Elvis would be proud to have worked with them,` says Priscilla Presley.

Some of the songs on the album will be:

`I`ll Be Home For Christmas` with Carrie Underwood
`Blue Christmas` with Martina McBride
`Here Comes Santa Claus` with LeAnn Rimes
`Silent Night` with Sara Evans
`Merry Christmas Baby` with Gretchen Wilson
`Silver Bells` with Anne Murray
`White Christmas` with Amy Grant
`O Little Town` with Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town
`Santa Claus Is Back In Town` with Wynonna Judd

I say that im sure he would have been thrilled i think if Elvis was still with us then that would have been one of his projects and duets lol

Elvis hardly did duets, dint he?
I dont think i can recall he ever done one in publik...

Thats Right Essie but i do Think Elvis would have gone down this route at some point and many Artists would have been banging his door down asking him it did work well for that Tom Jones fella

For Pavaroti too! haha
I have heard some private moments of Elvis singing some duetts.
But i dont think there are many that could even stand in his shadow.
