| Hi TCB, sorry not sure how to get photos on here, but they are brand new it all is the speakers are £500 a pair from the shops mixing desk £150 and mikes around £75 for three. We would take £300 for the lot a great bargain for right person the are 400 watts a side at 4 homes. They was bought to do discos but after 3 wks we packed it in and stuck to watt we do best, i hear you say wats that lol. they would suit any venue up to wmc size and are much better than mackies no comparison, mackies are cheap and nasty. Regards Joe |

Regards Joe were did u get the idea mackies are cheap and nasty? i think alot of people would agree it dont come much better than mackies. mackies certainly are not cheap at £900 a pair of speakers. and got to be the best sound ive heard from any system and im sure alot of eta's would agree.

| Hello my friend, mackies are very popular cause they are what they are, very popular in club land, and will sell all day long, but i have to disagree with you as my pal worked for sound control, he was the manager and with 20 plus years in the biz i do think he should know, our logic rig just for tops and bins were £4500 now do you see, but hey each to their own. Regards Joe

| Hi Joe, over the last 29 years, ive used bose, peavey, jbl, and a few other makes, but last year i brought a full mackie rig ie. 2 x 450 tops and 2 x 1500 bins, this was brand new also came with leads, stands, and gig bags, and all this was only £1800.00 and this included next day delivery to my door with a years garraunte and i must say, this mackie eq. is the best ive ever heard, and is 2nd to none Paul Richie | |

| Hi Paul, glad you like mackie, and glad you find them good for you, that's all that counts, and has i said before, they are very popular especially in club land, and will sell all day long, a friend of our,s who also use to work for sound control selling p.a equip is called kenny, he sold mackie all day long, and if you ask'd for his honest oppinion he would give it, he has being selling mackie amongs't other thing for the last 5-10 years, anyone wants his number they can have it. £1800 hundred sounds a lot until you compare it with logic gear, tops and bottoms £4500, no poles no bags they were separate, check out their web site, our rig is made up of a compact self powered enclosure combining a neodymium 15'' cone driver with a 1.4'' exit compression driver and a compact self powered sub bass enclosure featuring a high power 18'' cone driver the tops are 600w power handling/impedience and the subs are a 1000w power handling/impedience weight of tops are 25kg each and the subs are 45kg each to visit their site go to www.logic-system.co.uk then go to their powered stuff and take a look at the xp range. | truth is a good singer will sound good through a not very good system, but a poor singer will still sound poor through the most expensive gear in the world! | |

| Hi Willard, in theory you are right but wrong at the same time, let me explain, i think we all know that you get a much better sound if you use bins as well as tops, so if a person beleives they are a good vocalist then why not just use tops, and why not just use the cheapest p.a gear you can buy, yes a good vocalist can sound like they have good vocalls even through a cheap system but the overall sound can be poor, and elvis beleived in having the best of everything, just watch destination vegas and he says he has the most expensive get up on the road at that peticular time. one of our friends who visits this site from time to time is a top turn in club land, Mr Chris Hindle of Connect Duo, they use to use mackie, and thought they were good but is now using bose and beleives they are much better, so going back to what i first said, mackie are popular will sell all day long but they are what they are, bottom to mid table in p.a gear, i know people who love berringer and peavey but these are bottom of the table stuff prob lower than mackie, but again each to their own. Regards Joe |

| yes bose are excellent, but the point was that you said mackies are cheap and rubbish and nasty and that wharfdale are much better and no comparison to mackies. when wharfdale are probably below peavy and berringer which u say are bottom of the table so how does that make wharfdale better than mackies :S | |

| Hi, truth is wharedale, mackies, peavey beringer etc etc are bottom to mid table, i quite like jbl, which in my oppinion are better than those others i've mentioned, but none of them could come close to competing with logic. I visited my friends disco shop yesterday morning and i ask'd him his oppinion on mackie speakers, and he said what i beleived anyway, he said if you doing 2 45 min spots they will do ok or 3 30 min spots, but anyhow you were to do 1hr 30 streight through they would break down as there not good enough, how true that is of them breaking down i don't know, but what i do know is that we as a team would not use anything other than logic but, if you want a mini or a ford fiesta then you pay mini or fiest prices, if you want a jag or a merc then you pay jag or merc prices and if your fortunate enough to be able to afford a bently or a roller then you pay bently or roller prices. But again each to their own. Regards Joe |

Regards Joe mackies shouldnt even be classed in the same breath as wharfdale peavy beringer OR JBL and no one is talking about logic. i know alot of people who have UPGRADED from jbl to mackies so doesnt that tell you somthing. and as for mackies breaking down lol i have sung on them for 5 hours straight, and i have had them on for 12 hours straight doing disco's and never had a problem. sounds like your mate in the shop would sell you soundlab and tell you its the bee's knees and there the bently of sound equipment, when we all know there the worst! mackies bottom to mid table your having a laugh.
