|  The Late Frank Tory September 10th, 2008 An Elvis tribute event, organised to celebrate the life of a former St Neots resident, began with a special presentation on Friday evening (September 5) at the Priory Centre in St Neots. A new Mayor's Civic award, in memory of the late Frank Tory, was presented by deputy mayor, Alan Cummings, to Pat Sumner of Heron Court in St Neots, for his work on the Sudbury Meadow project, as well as other valuable work in the community. The new award will be presented annually. Close friend and colleague of Mr Tory, Carol Moon, said the evening had been well attended and everyone had enjoyed themselves. She said the performance by Elvis tribute artist, Ben Portsmouth, had been 'stunning'. She added: "Pat took away a certificate and engraved medal. The trophy will remain in a display cabinet in the centre."
