| A large number of Elvis items have come up for auction by Heritage Auction Galleries claiming they are 'The World's Largest Collectibles Auctioneer' in the US.

Looking through it, one item caught my eye and thats the Dinner Program from Oct 14th 1956 held in Pittsburgh. It claims in the description that at this function Elvis and JFK signed the program.

Now this is the interesting bit. On Oct 14th 1956, Elvis was in San Antonio, Texas where he performed 2 shows one at 3pm and another at 8pm and could not have been at this event.
If this Elvis autograph is authentic then it must have been signed at a later date but why would anyone carry the program around for Elvis to sign it, doesnt make sense. For an item thats valued at $6,000, i would expect the Auctioneers to have done their research abit better than that. As far as im aware, Elvis never met JFK or attended any functions where JFK was present.

They even had Elvis his finger prints for sale... Absolutely Essie, especially on Ebay and its very hard to authenticate? a real Elvis autograph but for a respectable Auction site like this one with an item with a value of $6,000, thats not very good to make a mistake like that.

| I would never trust something like that, and i think it sad that some people do fall for that kind of thing... Like, a piece of hair from Elvis, i even seen it framed in a Elvis-shop... It can be anyones hair! Anything to make some money, in Elvis's name.. | |

One person that could answer allot of questions regarding this auction and is a leadingn authority on Elvis Collectibles is group member JOSEPH KREIN.... Hugs Charmaine

| Another long-time leading authority on Elvis Collectibles is Jerry Osborne...and he says that he is not 100% sure this is Elvis' autograph, but if it is, then it would have been added at another place and another time...which would be the general conclusion, I think. Carol |
