The 12th Annual CSRA Images of the KING CONTEST will be hosted by MC BILL on Feburary 20th -21st, 2009. THE CONTEST is a preliminary to the "Images of the King" Contest held annually in Memphis, TN. The winner of the contest will become a pre-qualified finalist in "Images of the King" Contest, which will be held in August 2009. According to the "Images of the King" Regional Contest Guidelines, each contestant will be judged in the
following categories: Vocals, Appearance, Stage Presence & Professionalism.

Special Award (PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD – ALL THE FANS VOTE!)
There will be a maximum of 20 (10 Friday & 10 Saturday) contestants. Each contestant will sing 14 minutes with a 1 minute carry over. ANY CONTESTANT exceeding the total 15 minutes will be docked a total of 5 points so PLEASE have your song list and talking down, this is done to be fair to all ETA's and keep the contest running smoothly. The overall top 1/2 of the contestants will perform in the finals with same time limit.
PLEASE NOTE 1/2 of the entries will go to the finals. NO EXCEPTIONS
The ETA contest will start at 7:00 Friday night, 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon and Finals Saturday night 8:00 pm.
Special guests (if any) will sing after the contest each night to be fair to ETA'S so they can perform earlier in the evening!
The Contest Entry Fee is $60.00 . Contestants will provide his/her own backing music, CD's only. CD's should be marked with contestants name & songs in the order they will be performed. Sound check will begin approximately 1 hour prior to the Youth Showcase or the Saturday afternoon competition. Song selection to be turned in prior to sound check. There will be a dressing area provided. Contest Producer reserves the right to video all performances and the right to sell the performances with no obligation to the contestants. Decisions of the contest producer are final.
