Vegas ETA Jesse Garon: Hit by the recession

Remember this ETA from a few years back on MTV's "I Want A Famous Face"? It documented his facial surgeries and subsequent recovery and the show also made the headlines over here in a few of the papers.

Named after Elvis' stillborn twin brother of course, Jesse Garon has had some bad luck this year with the recession hitting Las Vegas hard; Jesse's bookings have sadly dried up and he has even had to put his Graceland-replica gates into storage:

Thats a real shame. The price is still quite a lot to get to vegas, maybe if they lower the prices it might be more affordable for everyone.

Yes it is a shame but I've got a feeling he will get back on his feet again before long. Interesting he is now starting to do the later Elvis as well as the 1950s. I've noticed this often happens with ETAs who only do the 50s that as they age they start doing the mature Elvis.
A good example would be Quentin Flagg who was the only 50s Elvis in the 1999 documentary Almost Elvis and he now does the Vegas era.

I know Jesse Garon has has had a lot of people knocking him in the past because of his plastic surgery but then so did Trent Carlini (who has aways denied having any work done) and Trent got back on top after his very public "re-boot" of his life. Jesse Garon is a very good performer and is still hugely popular in Vegas as well as a lot of the USA.

Money means almost ziltch!!!

He has his health and time is on his and everyones side.

Jesse always comes across in several interviews I have read as a fighter and passionate about what he does; and I think that's the key!

I always admired the way he rose above his detractors who made some very distasteful comments regarding his plastic surgery. Very sad how any ETA can attack another.....
