Elvis Throwing Guitars

Does anyone know or have any info on when Elvis started throwing his guitars to Charlie? I saw footage of him once throwing guitars during several performances- I wonder if it ever went wrong?

Not too sure but i,ll try and find any info about it.

I know that Glen Hardin wasnt happy with Elvis throwing water over him and he actually approached Elvis once and said that he has had enough of it and apparently Elvis told Glen that he wont throw water at him any more but the next concert, Elvis chucked a whole bucket of water over Glen, Elvis found it hilarious but Glen was fuming.

He left the band in 1976.

I noticed in the Aloha rehearsal, he throws the guitar- but in the main show he does'nt.

I wonder if this was the first-ever time he threw a guitar? (Or the first time it was caught on film at any rate).

It was only a small throw- nothing like the kind of over-the-head, sky-high throws which would come later.......but it's a great moment to see!
