72 Press Conference- photos

I have always thought that some of the best photos ever taken of the King came from this press conference. He had quite a dark tan here and looked very healthy and in very good spirits- he was obviously looking forward to the upcoming Madison Square Garden concerts.

Also at this conference he gave us an unusually revealling insight into himself when he said:

“...the image is one thing and the human being is another...it’s very hard to live up to an image.”
