STANDING DOWN

i think it is time for me to stand down , i don't like the way that it as been implied that i am somehow trying to get you all to promote Darren H's " ELVIS CHAT " frankly i don't give a shit , but what does get on my nerves is petty fall outs about bull crap , who cares who joins what forum ?? i certainly don't , i have been on all the forums at one time or another , and even started Chat myself , what i learnt is that everyone has their favourites but generally the best forum is the one that will survive , and i tend to think that the Browser is the best , it is the most proffesional with the most varied content , all i have been thinking is as the best do we really need to be drawn into childish playground fall outs ???? since i was put as mod on here i have always had teh browser in the forefront of my mind , i don't even go on Chat , i am not in the slightest bothered wether Chat is here tomorrow or not , in fact i would sooner it close as i still feel a little bitter over certain things , and for what it's worth or anybody's buisness me and Darren don't even talk anymore , we are not as close as we were or are likely to be , what i said was in inoccence and in no way underhand , if you all want to continue falling out then that's up to you , thank you for giving me the opportunity to be here i have really enjoyed it , this is the second time in the last couple of weeks that it as been implied that i am somehow being underhand ( both times not here ) and i have to say me and Beck do not bother with anybody , we are not in a cliuqe , we don't get invited to get togethers and we are not part of the gang , we do our thing our way , we try to get on with all and not have friction with anybody , i find it all dam petty

I wouldn't think for one minute you would be in alliance with Darren H. It would be a real shame for you to stand down as you have been a great moderator. Think maybe we should all start again and ignore what Darren H has said. Everyone is just annoyed and upset at this moment in time which shouldnt be happening.

I agree with you and Becky, it is best doing things your own way and not being in a clique. Think that is why we mods do get on, we are not in each other pockets all the time with out others knowing. When we meet up we are all invited.

Can we all start again please and not end up like other forums where no one is getting along .

Eddie i never said you was in alliance with him and if you think thats what i meant them i'm sorry it wasnt meant that way the way i was trying to put is despite Darren H's lies you stick by the friendship with him and still try and help him , because lets face it if we allowed him to advertise Chat on here we would be helping him out big style cause chat is dead. Or another way i respect your loyalty towards him.

Just goes to prove i aint in any clique either because i didnt know you had issues or fallen out with him..... Sleep on it do whatever you need to do Eddie its your call but i have already said this would be sad if you was to step down as mod. And if i had issues with you i would have just taken you off as mod when you requested it ?

i always put the browser first Val , i see it as my home , there are certain people who do not bother with me since i became a mod on here people i thought were friends , all i am concerned with is peace , it hurts me when i see all the bickering that gos' on , most of it is plain childishness , he said she said stuff , i just think we should rise above it , as the best forum we set the standard not just for the general outlook of the forum but for attitudes also

I agree with you 100% Eddie, we all should be getting on. They are obviously not true friends if they dont agree with you being a mod on here as you are a decent guy and that is what they should have seen and known. A lot of the bickering is childish and it shouldnt go on as we are all adults.

I tusted him once Paul , but never ever again , yeah we were friends , i thought close friends , but i lived and learnt , nobody is more suspicous of Darren than me because i have suffered first hand from his underhandedness

i get so fed up of falling out and underhanded people , you know what the other week i was talking to somebody about setting up a legends show and it was all going well until i get a message from the guy saying that somebody had emailed him saying how upset he was that he wasnt doing a show with them and that they should stay away from me and Beck because we are gossips , well i was so angry , me and Beck truley don't bother with anybody , and really try not to talk about people , i contacted the person concerned and had it out with them , the guy in the end apologised to me and that was that , i sometimes wish we as invited to stuff and were part of the ETA cliuqe as we do sometimes feel left out , but if it means having poeple saying things that are not true about you then i can do without it

We are the same we stay in our little bubble the only time we get with peeps is like practice days or browser events. Its very rare we see or hear anything these days thats why the browser is special to use cause when we meet up where all friends .....

I have always seen you as a straithforward guy that is not ashamed to say what he is thinking.
I do not believe you gossip, i think rather that you walk up to a person and confront them about something they had said.
Just like you are doing now, you tell it, like it is and how you feel. And i do realy apreciate that and respect that!
I realy dont care what happends in other forums, i dont even visite other ETA forums, i stay out of it. This to me, is my family, and you are a part of this family. Listen, it would be like a brother leaving the nest. It just wouldnt be right if you would leave.

sorry guys i have only just got onlline here since yesterday. To be honest maybe its just me but i really didnt read what eddie said as him giving support to Darren and on the same hand I didnt see in what Paul said as saying that Eddie is someway supprting Darren cos - Maybe I am missing something hehe but I dont think so I did not read anything into either post to be honest...

That is the only thing with forums. Text can always be taken the wrong way. My step daughter had the same thing with her BF and thought he was being weird, she gave him a ring and realised that it wasnt that at all! lol!
