Memphis 2012/Browser night

Are we planning to go to Memphis together for 2012? Are we going to arrange a browser weekend, either for us only or for Browser members also?

are we stll going to the legends show..??

what month would we be looking to go to memphis,,?? would you want to go for Elvis week or christmas time so as to see Graceland decked out in chrissy lights or would it be sometime else..????????

I was thinking more of Elvis week. I think we said the legends show was for October, but will go with when everyone is available.

Yep, by the way my birthday is the 27th October . Think we was going for the last one as Chris only does certain dates. Not sure of the best way to book it.

Just read Lisa's post, it might be best us trying to see one of his actual shows instead but will go with the majority. Dont mind if it is not around my birthday, we can just pretend it is.

Maybe we should ask lisa and make sure you mention its your birthday you might invited on stage lol

sorry guys wont be able to make this date as we are away on hols (booked these dates last year) but you guys should still go

Thats ok Garry, we are playing with dates anyway. Not sure if we are going to see Chris's actual show rather than the Legends one as he is only on for 30 minutes.

Just been looking at Chris Connors gig guide, he is doing one in Manchester (Prestwich) on Sat 27th August. Does everyone want to arrange a night out to see Chris? Paul what area is better for you to get too as you live the farest. Or does everyone want to go to the Legends show instead.

What we need to do is see if this date is ok with everyone , if so then maybe put something in the main forum see what interest there is and then have words with lisa , manchester is fine for us x

i havent replyed to this thread cause having already turned down the proposed date in oct i didnt want to sound negative but at the mo i would have to turn down aug also as it being the silly month for an E.T.A. i intend to be fully booked up myself sorry guys

Lets get some dates on here and we can work it out. Dont worry about turning the other date down as there are plenty to choose from.

if everyones cool with that then great but if it causes probs then dont make any special arrangements for me as i dont wanna cause any agrro to anyone

Just looking at Chris's dates for Saturdays as thought that wud be easiest but they are all Legend shows. I wud like to see a legends show but is up to you guys. He might have some shows in Manchester or somewhere at some point, we could always keep our eyes open but couldnt see anyfin on his site, here are the ones I saw:

Sat 23rd July - Legends = Blackpool
Sat 3rd Sept - Legends = Blackpool
Sat 27th Sept - Legends = Blackpool
Sat 1st Oct - Legends = Blackpool
Sat 15th Oct - Legends = Blackpool
Sat 29th Oct - Legends = Blackpool

It depends if everyone wants to see either Chris's full show or the legends as I think Lisa said he is only on for about 45 mins at the most for Legends.

Is up to you hun. Ive not seen any for Manchester yet thow. Shall we wait and see if anythin else comes up closer to the time?
