It all depended on his mood. If he wore black or white....I say play it safe for contest...wear Black ones because if they are any kind of judges and studied his video's they will probley remember him wearing black boots for contest.
As for his shows...its up to him. Just don't do what I did one time and forget my boots and had use my girlfriends boots on stage. LOL
