| Yeah i have read this in the news today.
Im afraid this event did not happen.
What Bill Kenwright fails to realise is how much Elvis fans know about Elvis.
When Elvis was in Germany doing his National service the only time he went out of that country was two visits to Paris, one in June '59 and the other in Jan '60.
On March 7th '60, Elvis gave a press conference from Vernon's office at Graceland and stated the only time he went anywhere was to Paris.
In a few more interviews, one with Peter Noone in 1965, he mentioned that he has never been to England and would like to go.
If this trip did take place, word would have got out that he was there. It would have been impossible for Elvis to have seen the sites Bill Kenwright claims he saw without being seen or any reporters finding out about it.
Plus the fact that he would have to go through customs etc.Plus also the fact that Elvis didnt go anywhere without at least one of his friends.
Every single person connected with Elvis, including his army friends have never remarked about this 'so-called' trip to London.
Nice story but completely untrue. | |
