Press Release: Elvis Bodyguard still lives TCB

If there was ever a man who had plenty to say about Safety, Awareness and Personal Protection it had to be Dave Hebler. Hebler was one of the original Bodyguards known as the "Memphis Mafia" who not only protected the King of Rock-N-Roll but was an expert at Kenpo Karate now holding a Master's Degree in his discipline.
At 70 years old and full of vigor and spirit he still dons in his traditional Karate Uniform and Masters Belt and teaches workshops all over the world. He has been an International Instructor reaching places like United Kingdom and through out the United States for his expertise and wisdom. Next year he will visit the Country of Chile as he was just invited by the Mayor of Maipu, Alberto Undurraga to attend a teaching seminar with Karate expert Sean Kelley. The invitation was recently announced at the University of Americas-Chile by the mayor to have Hebler come to his City as a first time guest. The event will take place at a later date sometime in 2009 hosted by Roberto Vidal a Kenpo student under Sean Kelley and his Chinese Karate Federation which Dave Hebler is the Vice President of. The mission of his Foundation is more of a impact on those who feel unsafe, unable or have no means to find a method of education to protect themselves or a loved one.
To get people to admit they have been a victim or that they know someone who has is a intimate memory that has caused many to hide in fear. Using the program Hebler designed was made to Re-ignite the Fight for Right of Self-Worth, Confidence, and the physical ability to get away or just plain escape a serious situation. His workshops are Titled with a simple word..........
"INTUITION"
Just recently he formed a Foundation called "The Gift Of Power" to safe guard victims of violence and to educate them on how to escape and not be a victim. He has authored training books and has a web site now that many can use as a inspiration to "Stand Up" and stop being a victim or to take action and Protect your families, as well as your neighborhoods from violence.
This Journey was launched after hearing a story about a little girl named Mary Vincent and how she was brutally attacked and being a father with daughters it was enough for him to say......If Elvis was alive today and because of the threats once put on his daughter Lisa Marie, I feel he would have wanted an educational program put into our school system as well as for all Americans to stand up and fight back!
It's a known fact Elvis too was an 8 th Degree Black belt who trained with Hebler, Sonny West and Red West. On tour he would always make time to play and even on stage do his Martial Arts. Elvis was a friend who died too young and he too left with a dark side but the side Hebler recalls was his passion to be a patriotic man who felt America was a place for Peace, Freedom, and Justice.
Today Dave Hebler is now traveling doing "Free" work shops and lectures telling stories of course about Elvis but more so about his Foundation for all Americans to take a stand and remember the quote; It takes people to raise a Village, or it takes a neighborhood to raise a Child. Today we have more HOODS that have become our Neighbors.
