jamie in memphis

I came across this video shot in Memphis week on U tube. Jamie did a show in Wales earlier this year with myself and Gordon and really impressed me (as he had in London at the BBC previously).
He is maturing all the time even though still very young and is as talented an ETA as I have seen in the UK. ( Not that I have seen them all)

He has the voice and the look ..very impressive. Justin Shandor watch out ?? lol

Hi Steve,
this guy seems ok, but alot of his english accent comes through when he's singing, but that happens alot with uk eta's

Wow I am well impressed with that footage. He has grown so much from when I saw him on The Worlds Greatest Elvis. His hair and makeup are fab!
I think this guy has a long career ahead of him. Well done Jamie!

i was in memphis last week when he was performing and i was blown away for someone so young the americans love him this boy will go a long long way

I`m not so sure if it makes that big a difference Joe.

This is somethink I have battled with - an American accent or not.

I think u naturally sing with an American accent (or as near as u can get) when u r performing a song sung that way.

I think the lad is very, very good and he will get better.

I just feel for his age he is such a natural talent. (probably 6 or 7 years younger than Justin) who also has a wonderful natural talent
I take your point about the accent though, which I'm sure if he needed to he could work on.

I think Jamie is quality too, I'd not seen him before watching the You Tube vid.

Ok i may get shot here, but i have followed Jamie clips for a while now and i have never been impressed with him as an overall package now that is out the way he has improved somewhat is it right he is only 17?? well he has improved alot within a year so i would say UHMmmmm the guy is good and he has time on his side could be the UK answer to a Donny or a Justin it will be nice and very interesting to follow his career.
This is what i am saying about the top guys out there at the moment or the old school however you would like to be classed these new younger generation of ETA's who have great talents and who can portray all Era's which is a breath of fresh air liking the the Young ETA's that are doing more and more 50's so old school better watch out ...as these guys are hot on your tail and will be taking over

Very impressive.

Takes alot to get a WOW out of me.

I have seen jelvis quite a few times in porthcawl and he just gets better each time plus he is a very friendly young man,my daughter kirsty just loves him,next time i see him will get some photos for you all.
