Support for EddieP

As some of you may already know on Saturday EddieP, who had travelled a hell of a long way to come and raise money for charity had his car broken in to and all of his gear stolen.
I am sure you will all agree that this is just sickening. All of the lads who performed on the night and the people that came have all said we want and are going to do something about it, we are going to put a gig on to raise money to get EddieP new stuff. He is such a lovely guy and we cant believe this had to happen to him. Im sure all the other forums who know EddieP will want to be involved too so if we can all show support and get something together sooner rather than later so that EddieP can get back to normality that would mean a great deal.

Wow that's really good of you Dawn and Dave , we will see what we can put together for eddie and hopefully we can get all his gear back in way of new replacements. Watch this space....

Bad Luck Eddie that sucks it really does i hope you manage to get to replace some of your equipment do you have contents insurance you should check to see if that covers your equipment i know my contents insurance does as that was one of my 1st questions when i took my cover out.

Damn Eddie that sucks I am sure with the support you have it wont be long before you can replace your gear but this should be warning to us all to keep extra security as the credit crunch is here and also Xmas so assholes are out there everywhere waiting to steal anything they can get there hands on

We could always arrange a boxing match between Garry John and Ricky Hatton . But seriously when something is arranged we will be there to support it.

I think Dawn (Memphis Belle) had mentioned it might be worth getting the press involved?

"Charitable Elvis suffers big loss" or something like that. You might get some shop or whatever pick up on it and try to help.

Just a thought.

One last thing, for a guy who had such a bad thing happen, your performance was fantastic Eddie - a real man, unlike the scum that took off with your gear.

I can't take credit for this but Meaty Pete Moore has had a suggestion with regards to the date. Because its so close to Xmas we don't think a gig this year would really do justice to replacing eddies gear, So pete has come up with the idea of what about Valentines Weekend ie feb ? That way its not near xmas and its after the january contest. Really need your feeback on this cause we want as many to support as possible. Also we would do this by ticket admission only.

Anyway i believe the press are in contact with eddie and doing a story and also i have a possible sponser who sells all things gig wise and there a big company but will keep pushing companys for more sponsership.
