FINAL 3 JUMPSUITS

Now, this might get a bit confusing but here goes:

The last suit which Elvis commissioned and which he actually wore in his lifetime was the 1976 FLAME suit. It was designed and made in the Summer of 1976 and worn in October of '76. Apparently Elvis never really liked this suit much which is probably why he wore it so little:

One thing I noticed when looking at the photos from this show, is Elvis has lost quite a lot of weight- look at the side of the suit just above the belt, the loose material has actually been gathered up and temporarily pinned in; maybe there was no time to take in the suit properly....
Then of course the last suit he ever wore on stage was 1974's SUNDIAL:

Then there is the BLUE PAISLEY suit or the UNWORN suit which was made for the August '77 tour but was obviously never worn:


But the reason why I am posting all this here is that I recently read that according to none other than Gene Doucette, there were actually FIVE new jumpsuits delivered to Graceland in August of 1977- one of which was this Blue Paisley suit- so what happened to the other 4?????

Gene Douchette and Butch and Kim (B&K enterprises) are coming to the Blackpool Convention again in January, this will be their first visit since Kim had her Heart trouble, it will be good to see them again.
