In an attempt to be “first with the news” an Australian Elvis site were quick to announce earlier that Larry Geller had died from a heart attack just a short time previous. With an additional post on a well-known messageboard, news of his passing spread throughout the internet like wild fire and Larry’s Facebook page became full of condolences and sympathy messages.

Well, the good news is that Larry is NOT dead. He is very much alive, but imagine waking up to learn you’d died during the night and it was worlwide news?!!!

OMG Val thanks for posting that i was just about to go into deep depression mode , Larry is such a nice guy met him a few times once was when he was a Judge at Blackpool Elvis Comp. The other time was in Memphis and he actually recognized me from the contest
