Fans

Have any of you guys have fan's that are just crazy about you?

Johnny has one fan, the guy is a big Elvisfan, and follow's Johnny whenever he has a publik show.
He flew 2 hours after us, to see a show, and he also flew after us, when we went to Memphis, he even was at our wedding! hahaha
Then Johnny also has a fan in Switzerland, she sended Chocolades from Switzerland (best chocolade i ever tasted!) and made fantastic paintings of Elvis and Johnny and sended them!
I think it is so nice of those fan's to do that!

Do you have any out of the ordenairy fans?
And how do you deal with it?

Paul had a weird fan who used to turn up at all his gigs and was part of the same fan club as him.
When we got together she called me all the names under the sun and wouldnt stop texting or ringing Paul, though he would never text her back. She blamed me and said I wouldnt let him
Luckily we havent heard from her for a while so hopefully she has given up. lol x

i have some great Lady's who follow me , they always come up to me mopping my brow with a hankerchief etc.. one night while performing so that the one could'nt get to me the other Handcuffed her mate to the table the funny part was that she just lifted up the table and came over to me anyway brilliant

Our neighbour told me 2 weeks ago, when Johnny gave one of those aloha flower things, to her after the show she got into a fight with an other woman, course the other one wanted to have it!!
Beats me, why they do that, but it is funny to hear, i think..
Although some go to far..

Yes I have quite alot of fans that have built up over the years. Alot were generated whilst I was touring with the show Mamma Mia. Their ages range from teenahers right through to people in their 50's & 60's. sometimes it's quite funny as I will be all set up at a venue & a minibus some times 2 will turn up full of my fans which alot have now become friends! They are all fantastic people as Ed will tell you as he has had the pleasure of perfroming infront of them too! Especially one guy called Len, ain't that right Ed!

What would yaw been without fans?!
Thank goodness for them!
Some are very special though!!
And sometimes you get friends out of it too, that's nice!!

Yeah Essie they are great, everyone last one! Some have become real close friends & I am thankful for that too!

i have to admit Len is a real star , i went with Darren to a gig once , it was a bit of a drive so we all stayed over , we were all in the pub after the gig having a drink and i happened to look down and there was Len totally barefoot so we me and Daz proceeded to take ours off to , the pub thought we were nutters , and you know what ?? they were right great times

i have always been lucky and everyone that as followed me have been lovely people , although i did once have someone who would come and watch me when i was at a particular venue , she would sit right at the front and film me on her phone , she said in conversation that she never went out on New Years Eve , but sure enough when New Year came there she was , it started to worry me a little , the icing on the cake was when my wife over heard her saying to someone that she planned to split us up and have me for herself , my wife confronted her and we never saw her again , i sometimes feel that due to the job we do we have to be nice and polite to people , but sometimes people misread us being friendly for us wanting to get them into bed perils of the job i supose

Yeb, i am sure there are crazy fans that try to do all that.
But i think if you want to keep a good repatation, you should just stay friendly with them, but sertenly not share the bed with them..
I am sure now and then with some artist that happends, but to my opinion it is not a smart thing to do...
I was there once, when Johnny performd and a woman had some drinks to much, she undresst herself.. (underwear and all!)
That draw the line to Johnny and he say in the mic:' Get dresst woman, and sober up!'
Or underwair (even from man) throwing at him..
But mostly it is a good crowd!

i look back at it and laugh now Essie i mean i am no Elvis if they wanted to stalk someone i'm sure they could have picked someone a little more suitable like FRANKEINSTEIN no but really , i try and be as friendly as i can , even if some people are being a little full on with you , often i can be talking to a lady who is obviously being very flirty and i will see my wife in the corner of my eye ready to punch her lights out but i always tell her it's part of the job , i must say my wife puts up with a lot , and she is always great when lady's come up to the stage for scarves / kisses etc.. but it's when people push their luck a little to far that she gets a bit upset
