No one can sing this song to the degree that Elvis did.

I know what you mean Sean, I always feel like I want to fall asleep when anyone else sings it. Elvis sings it with such passion and upbeat, dramatic music it beats the others hands down

This is funny find because Willie Nelson said he wrote that song with Elvis in mind to sing it and even Willie says that song belongs to Elvis now so in that case how come Brenda Lee sang it 1st Confused or what!!

I also thought Willie Nelson was the one who wrote the song.. :S

I heard about this on my local radio station...the DJ often plays Elvis songs...sometimes you'll get the same song but by different people...I like very much to hear how others sing the song.
