ETA SHOWCASE AND CHRISTMAS PARTY WEEKENDER ?

Hi Guys and Girls

Ok as you all know i'm into supporting all our members and ETA's, so i have been in talks with Venue's and Potential promoters etc that can help get ETA's bookings. So here's what i have come up with what do you think ?

OK about the Venue its at the Central Club in blackpool now for those who don't know The stage is set up with Robbie Williams Set from the video Advertising Space it has big Graceland Gates on stage etc , We was thinking of getting in a Video company in to record your sets as a professional Promo video's not sure how much that will cost but looking into it.

What i need to know is who would be interested in showcasing? We was thinking of weekend of November 21 the show would be on the 22nd ? We need to know asap because we need to get names on posters and advertise around blackpool as well as local radio and TV.

Could we make this into Elvis weekender ? Ok allow me to Explain , we have access to a themed Elvis Hotel in ST ANNES they have KAraoke and Minidisk for those who want to sing, transport to and from the hotel and central club.
Its a great venue and seen as its late november we could have a christmas party while where at it what do you think ?

Yes this is a great idea, hope we can get all of you guys involved. We are told that there will be 'influential' people there i.e people that could increase your booking rates Etc but most of all it will be a great get together in the name of Elvis. Who could ask for more! Lol!

Im up for this and I would love to do a showcase, any of the venue's are ok with me

Its open to all Garry, anybodys welcome. We would love it to be a family weekend. Thanks to you and Micky for coming aboard!

I think the main hotel is about a 26 roomer but we would have to confirm that with Dave. But there are hotels very close by and Im sure Dave can recommend where is best if the rooms in his hotel get booked up.

Ill also have to enquire about the Central club but here is their website. We would be using the Concert Hall. Its a great place and as previously said it has the gates Robbie Williams left behind whilst filming Advertising Space. http://www.blackpoolcentralclub.co.uk/location.htm

Also as it is Christmas and we are all charitable peeps we are going to donate all proceeds to Blackpool Lifeboat Apeal. They have very kindly inturn said they will advertise the event for us which is great.

So we not only get a Christmas Party, A chance to see ETAs showcase/ Showcase your act, Have a great meet up and get a promo vid done we get to give a bit to charity too

***** *** had someone at the elvis academy to record the showcase promo's he got a special rate of ten people had to pay 50 pound each.

Yeah i'm looking into it at the moment, i just thought it would look ace a promo video on Robbie Williams set with the Graceland Gates etc.

What i will be doing guys is setting up a new section for those ETA's taking part in the showcase so we can discuss the show , ie songs we sing sets and how we would like the show to run , also have one of the Orginisers at the ST ANNS end in on the forum so we can discuss with them what's what , love to be orginised so everyone knows what there doing.

Ok here is the prices for a full elvis weekender any questions just ask. For those wishing to just go to the event tickets will be made available. And just cause i'm a techy i'll even make it so you can buy tickets online lol.

Basically you arive sometime on the 21st then go home on the 23 The hotel has a proper Bar Karaoke and mindisk setup and pool table, all rooms include breakfast each day. Transport to and from the Central Club so no worries about getting drunk and getting back . carvery on the friday night, full buffet on the saturday. either before or after the show.

Hi just re-itterate guys that the above prices are for 2 nights accomedation, breakfast for the Saturday and Sunday morning, transport to and from the venue, plus your ticket to the show!

All you need is a £20 deposit and that secures you a place rest can be paid on arrival, All i can say is its going to be one hell of a party so i hope we get the support from members on here and book there place asap.

Hopefully we will be going, going to try and book a room tomorrow. It is also my new husband's 40th Birthday on the 19th November, so this ties in nicely.

My god it just gets better, when we stayed last time for the elvis show we decided to have the Carvery before we left on sunday , tell you what is was to die for really loved it so much so i would drive the 130 odd miles on a weekend just for the Carvery.

We've booked, I think we have got the one with the 4 poster bed. All I need to do now is to pack my shoes.
