christmas party

what does everyone think of somthing like a smallish familly owned caravan park so as we could monopolise all the facilitys for ourselfs i e plenty accomodation all in one place. i.e. not in aload of hotels spread all over the place & a night club all for ourselves to do as we please with i.e. to have our usual 4am sessions, to put on a gig or just to have jammin sessions in etc etc

I think it is a great idea. Can I bring my own caravan . Is there any caravan parks open then?. There are some places where you can hire wooden lodges if we cant get a caravan park. I think it is better us highing something and having our own party.

havent thought that far ahead yet but itwould take alot of sussing out to get just the right place, with just the right facilitys, an not to big not to small, i like your idea of a site with wooden lodges it would be out of season which would be good for us cause with the right place we can take over all the site

Firstly great idea but what you need is a venue that will publicise the event , that was the problem with dave and dawns once we filled there hotel they wasn't interested in getting bums on seats , i think it was safe to say we managed to get 60 peeps there threw rooms etc.

ok bud do you think this idea has legs, if so ideas for a location appreciated everyone, but i think blackpool is out this time, so as to stop any hassle

i like the idea of a holiday village type thing but not blackpool please lol not sure what is still open at that time of year

Hi Guys, just a thought re- future browser partys. as the last month or so has seen the cancellation of possibly the two biggest Elvis festivals of the summer. so in hindsight anything we try to organise may be better to keep small & mabye select guests so to speak & what i mean by that is people we know are reliable & that have attended the previous events. what do you think...???????????????????

Yeh defo with you there Garry. People who we know wont let us down.
I think what we need to fink is what do we want.. a one nighter or weekend?
Do we want a showcase or just a general piss up and a sing song.
For me Im happy with anything, as long as the beer is flowin and there is late night drinking Im defo up for it

show case i think give us all a chance to do what we all enjoy paying our tribute to elvis !!!!!!!!! and have a piss up as well lol

Never been but i believe Hemsby do this type of thing ie caravan park and they do rock and roll events etc is it worth a look ?

Yeh loads of peeps have been interested in this. Me and Paul was finkin about Newcastle as its quiet central. What you guys think? Paul was gonna get in touch with Mike Memphis and see if he knows of any good places.
Basically we want somet as cheap and cheerful as possible. As long as we is all together and they have plenty of alcohol and a descent sound system we are sorted

whittley bay is newcastles answer to b/pool & from what i remember as a kid was quite a nice place

Oooh sounds good. How far is Newcastle from you hun? Fink its like 100 mile for us.

Newcastle would be fine for us, do you think we could meet Ant & Dec

think its about 2-3 hours but a browser p*ssup is well worth the tavel

But if you guys think of another location that would be kinda central to everyone let us know. We dont travelin, just it might get more peeps interested if its easily accessable! lol

no wonder its only 4 months off only seems like 10 mins since the last christmas do

I dont mind where it is as long as I dont have to walk there.

if it is in newcastle then you will have to count us out as the distance is just too far .hope you all have a smashing time
