| Been thinking and do you remember the gig you did with Mike nova, Dean Mac etc that time? That seemed like a really good venue. It was big enough, child friendly and had cheap booze. How much do they normally charge for there Pete do you know? Do you think it would be a good venue for our xmas do?
Dont forget these are just ideas, anything you guys could suggest would be fab! I don’t mind doin the posters and tickets etc. Plus we need to sort out about how many ETAs being on. I think there should be a limit otherwise it will get crazy. Plus is it going to be a one day or two day event? Also it would be nice this year for the ETAs to get paid change, what do you guys think? I think the more we sort out here before we put it live on the forum the better. Then we are a united front. Lol! xx | |

| Gary with ref to daves place , everytime we have done a event there has been problems , first time he fell out with the venue and it was nearly cancelled at the last minute , then the sound man walked out , second event he didn't want to let us use a square table for andys equipment and got a right nark on expecting i to fit on a small table , then on top of that the venue had a sound limitor .... Not to mention on both events he did bollock all to get people there if it wasn't for our own people we would have had nothing at all , both which was fundraisers ..... If its just a piss up you want then thats fine if you want to put a show on then i can't see it working with dave in it lol , Oh almost forgot he wanted to cancel the last event if kevin king turned up as well , all he is interested in is filling his hotel sorry b&b up ... | |

| We could stay in Paul's summer house . I think no matter where we pick people are going to moan. What about where we went a couple of weeks ago with Dave Graceland. I would be happy to make buttys but not sure if there are hotels near by. I think a caravan park or them ones where they have wooded accomodation . | |

| Have we got any ideas on Christmas. Been looking about but as I only know how to get to work my sense of direction is rubbish. Every where I picked seem to be miles away:lol!: . At the end of the day if people moan let them or they can always help out organising it. Andy is doing another event in Liverpool in December that might be an idea. | |

| HAVE BEEN GIVING THIS SUBJECT HUGE THOUGHT RECENTLY & SCOURING THE INTERNET MOST NIGHT'S BUT TO NOT MUCH AVAIL.. CAUSE AS YOU ALLKNOW I LOVES A TIPPLE OR TO & EXTREMELY LOVE OUR GET TOGETHERS. SO WHAT IDEA I DID COME UP WITH WAS INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR A HOTEL TO STAY AT & A SEPERATE VENUE TO GIG AT & THE FACTTHAT WE ALL LIVE TO FAR AWAY FROM POSSIBILITYS TO HELP & OVERSEE WITH THE PROMOTION FOR THE EVENT PERHAPS WE SHOULD GET A HOTEL THAT CAN DO BOTH MY RESONING FOR THIS WOULD BE:- 1.THAT WE WOULD TAKE UP MOST OF THE ALLOCATION OF THE HOTEL THEN THEY COULD LEASE THE REST, 2. IT WOULD KEEP THE OVERHEADS OF ROOM RENTAL DOWN, WE COULD MAKE IT A 24/3 EVENT WITH SOMTHING GOING ON ALL DAY EVERY DAY IE SHOWCASES, ELVIS MOVIES, DICCO & KARAOKE ETC, 3.THE P.A. SYSTEM COULD BE LEFT UP ALL WEEKEND. 4.THIS GIVES US AN EXCUSE FOR NOT USING DAVE AN DAWNS & KEEPS THE PIECE SO TO SPEAK THERE IS A HOTEL THAT IS SLIGHTLY BIGGER THAN DAVE & DAWNS THAT I USED TO USE WHEN WE WENT TO THE ULTIMATE ELVIS EXPERIANCE AT THE WINTER GARDENS IN BLACKPOOL THAT IS CALLED THE GROSVENOR ON ALBERT ROAD THAT HAS A SEPERATE DINING ROOM AND CABERET LOUNGE. (WILL TRY TO PUT UP LINK FOR YOU TO SEE IT) NOT SURE IF IT IS QUITE BIG ENOUGH FOR WHAT WE WANT BUT IT JUST GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF WERE IM COMING FROM SO WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK..?????????? | |
