| Just to point out to anyone who was at Blackpool and in the Competition's and advice for other competitions. The only 2 problems we had all the time playing tracks was the 2 ETA's who recorded their songs on CDRW disks, as it was not made known to us that they were on CDRW it only came to light when they did not play in the main CD player and we had to work hard and fast to wire up a CD Burner Deck to play them. With the cost of standard CDR being so cheap, why burn onto CDRW ?? We also got asked to play tracks from MP3 and MP4, which was a NO ! So for your own benefit, Mini Disk is still the main choice and never gives us a problem, and if not then a CDR that is checked to play in a CD system and not just a PC. Also their are still some long gaps at the start of people's disks and it feels a lifetime up on stage waiting for them to start, so cut them gaps down. With CDR's people are not bothered also to reclaim their disk as they can just make another, but I have any disc's that were not reclaimed and if anyone wants theirs, please email me at paulshookup@yahoo.co.uk | |

| Some good advice there Paul, and not just for comps either. If you have backups with you as well as you never know whats going to happen. | |
