The Twilight Zone: The Once and Future King

Has anyone ever seen this before? This Twilight Zone episode, he actually died long before 1977. Gary, an Elvis impersonator, gets sent back to 1954 and meets his idol. But when he tries to prematurely introduce Elvis to rock music and his famous shaking hips, a baffled Elvis becomes enraged and Gary is forced to kill him in self-defense. Gary then takes on Elvis’ identity and spends the next two decades living out every Elvis impersonator’s dream.

Lorna, did they do this in Quantrim leap as well. I think the Twilight Zone was weired to watch (mike would say that I live in a twilight zone) ha ha.

Incidently, Crown Electric Company was run by Jim Tipler and his wife who were a friendly couple who allowed Elvis time off to pursue his singing career and Elvis stayed with the company till late '54.

'Mr.Harris' never existed.

I remember watching this, and i have put this topic up before, as i have searched hi & low for this, i could not remember if it was The twilight zone, or tales from the crypt and never new the title, this from the 80s, and as Sean said yes it is Red West, and also the voice of Ronnie Mc'dowel who did the sound track for Elvis the movie.

i have seen it dident think much of it was ok

Use to watch Twilight Zone all the time, not on anymore here on Cable Tv.
However never seen this episode before..
