Very sad news regarding Myrna Smith

Myrna Smith, has passed away

It is with great sadness that we have to report that... our dear friend, Myrna Smith, has passed away. Myrna was taken to the hospital last March with severe kidney problems. Thank you for being our friend, Myrna. Thank you for the great music you made - and thank you for the joy you brought to millions with Elvis's music. We'll remember you forever. Rest in peace, Sweet Myrna.

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news today

Very Sad and espcially on xmas day, she will be sadly missed x

Was just listening to Elvis in the car yesterday (as I do all day, every day to and from work - when I get to work I put Elvis radio on PC...) and he was doing the introductions - mentioned Myrna there and I thought about her - wondered how she was getting on...
Ah well - God bless you girl - the heavenly choir's talent quotient just went up a wee bit...

I now i didnt really know Myrna, but its so sad, thoughts of with her family xxx

Thanks for letting us know about this Val. Is such sad news. She is the main one I think of when I think of the sweets, the yodelling with Elvis etc etc. Ive been lucky to see her quiet a few times in person, with the TCB band and with Louie Rockafella and she always looked great. RIP Myrna, am sure you will be up there with Elvis singing away x
