| Hi Andy Try getting hold of a Yamaha Multitrack MD Recorder MD4S. I brought one from Ebay a couple of years ago and it is ideal for 'home recording'. I paid £200 for it. I've added a Peavey effects unit to it to give the recording a little bit of effect. There are other multitrack recording systems on the market. The problem with using just a mixer lie in the fact that you can't balance your voice against the backing track as well and there is no opportunity to over record bits that don't go quite right! Hope that all helps - good luck Neil Duncan | |
