yeah i read the same thing David but my point was he is still being talked about ect and he has been around for a long long time lets hope soem of the more decent ETA's have the same thing for them

i wouldnt mind actually seeing something of his performance but i reckon nothing exists online

Hi batman,

Whoever said these photos were taken in '69 is incorrect.

Several sources have dated them as '72.

I,ll try and get some more photos and info on this.

ive see june/july 72 posted somewhere as well plus elvis definitely doesn't look like he should if it was 1969 he looks more the on tour/ aloha from hawaii appearance which would match the date

he looks amazingly lushhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well he always looks lush but i love this lushlinessssssssss the best - probably because candid and just relaxing casual

elvis does look slim in the photos so its desiding on his build i know some people can date pictures literly from certain types of jewellery Elvis has on will try and ask for soem more info on the pictures also

If i had to guess I would say it was more likely to be 72 - than 69 - even by the clothes - but hey what do i know hehe x

im sorry batman this is not 1969 it is his house in the hills but he looks completely wrong for 69 im sure sean will agree with me here just have to look at some candid photos from elvis in the different years to see that the hair is the main give away...plus the car he is seen getting into is a stutz blackhawk, elvis had 2 a 1971 and a 1973

He is a liar.

Elvis was in the middle of a 3-week vacation in Hawaii and the Bahamas when this guy claims this photo was taken.

Its not 1969 as David has said, Elvis looks more heavy in the face in these photos than how he looked in '69 plus his hair is much longer in these photos.

Im now not so sure of they were taken in late June/early July '72 cause Elvis was in Memphis around then , not LA.

Judging by the way Elvis looked and other giveaways sometime in 72 or 73.

It could be Sonny West but the only thing i have my doubts is that the guy in the photo, his hair is too light. Then i think i9t could be Jerry Shilling but then Jerry Shilling had curlier hair.I then think it could be Red West but his hair parts on the othr side, then i think it might be David Stanley but the guy in the photo looks much older than David would have been there.

Could also be Sam Thompson, Linda's brother.

Im stumped.

As for you ladies, we are trying to find out who the other guy in the photo is and all you can do is drool over the photos of Elvis.Dear me!!!!

That should confirm who it is then.

The only reason i doubted it was Rick was the hair, cause Rick had a centre parting but looking at the photo again, the sunlight hides one sde of the guys hair but i think Billy has solved the mystery.

i have enjoyed this threas billy cant shed any light on who the ETA is he just remembers telling Elvis there wass one there i have seen a few names mentioned of who it is being as Larry denies it is him

Johnny Foster (who does admit to it being him)
Dale "Eli" Culbertson (apperently Dale was asked and never replied)

Here's the story behind this pic.. 1973.. That's my brother Rick getting in the car with Elvis.. Me and David were in the backseat.. We went for a ride, and Elvis saw this good looking girl playing tennis, so he told me to talk to her.. I told her Elvis was in the car and wanted to meet her, but she just looked at me like I was somew kind of nut.. I went back to the car, and told everyone what happened and the laughed so hard, they started crying.... The rookie's first day...hehe
